My name is Ashley Langston. I graduated from Utah State University in December 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. I have a passion for teaching and I love the students I work with. I have only been teaching for a few short months, but the reward of teaching has already been so much better than what I ever imagined it would be.

I'm so excited to begin my career as a teacher. I had the opportunity while I was student teaching to be in the classroom on my own, and to take over all the duties of a teacher because my cooperating teacher was on maternity leave and my school district decided I no longer needed a long term substitute. Because of this, I started to learn my preferred method of teaching and also to evaluate lessons and make changes if needed. I loved my experience at Desert Hills Middle School and am so excited to continue on my chosen career path.
