The INTASC standards are the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium. These standards reflect the professional consensus of what beginning teachers should know and be able to do. There are ten standards as follows:

5. Motivation and Management
6. Communication and Technology

8. Assessment
9. Reflective Practice: Professional Growth
10. School and Community Involvement
On each of the following pages, the standard as well as my belief statement are listed. There is also an artifact displaying my knowledge and qualifications for each of the standards and a description of that artifact and how it meets those requirements.
